My Expression of Love
Born in the Caribbean, I grew up in a home where the kitchen was the heart of our family. Tradition dictated that as a young girl, I had to be in the kitchen, watching, learning, and absorbing the art of cooking from my mother and grandmother—the matriarchs who instilled in me the fundamentals of flavor. Their passion became mine.
I have always loved hosting, filling my home with family and friends while cooking meals that brought people together. Time and time again, I heard, "Keisha-Lue, yuh need fi open a restaurant!"—and 16 years later, FordeHouse Catering was born.
For me, food is love, and every dish I create is a reflection of that. FordeHouse Catering blends the rich, bold flavors of my Caribbean roots with the diverse tastes of American cuisine, creating an unforgettable fusion experience that warms the soul and satisfies every craving.
